Review: Atelier Escha & Logy – Alchemists of the Dusk Sky

So I finally finished ‘Atelier Escha & Logy’ using both characters. So, as the name suggests, you can play as either Escha or Logy. The two alchemists join the R&D department of Colseit, and go about completing missions and creating lots and lots of items. Overall, I enjoyed it enough that my second playthrough as Logy wasn’t too painful. It’s the sort of game though that won’t appeal to everyone, as the main focus is on item creation.

The Hall of Lost Footsteps by Sara Douglass

‘The Hall of Lost Footsteps’ is a compilation of short stories by Sara Douglass. Most of them are stand-alone stories, but quite a few are about ‘The Axis Trilogy’. The stories range from 1 page in length, to 20 pages. I haven’t read ‘The Axis Trilogy’ so I didn’t read the stories relating to that, in case I spoil anything if I do decide to read it. The stories I did read were vividly detailed, imaginative and enjoyable.

So I’m getting closer to publishing my next book. The cover is being finalized, which I’m pretty excited about (see below!), and I’m getting some maps made. Overall, I’m thinking 2-4 weeks until I’m ready to publish the e-book version (which is what I said last time!). As I said before, I’m planning on making the first book in the Duology free, and keeping the second book free for 2 weeks, and then charging somewhere around $1.99-$2.99.

I haven’t been able to do much reading while I’ve been editing these books, so I’m also looking forward to getting into more reading once I’m finally finished!
